MEETINGS
The Annual Meeting is held each October/November and is open to all residents. At this meeting, we go over expenditures for the current year, agree on a budget for the upcoming year, review neighborhood maintenance and improvement projects, and discuss subdivision social events. After the board provides their annual reports on budget, maintenance, and capital improvements, there is an open forum where residents can ask questions, voice concerns, or make suggestions.
Additionally, the board meets at various times throughout the year to touch base on current projects and monitor expenditures vs the available budget as needed.
Residents can always get in contact with the board via email at meadowhillsMEHA@gmail.com
BOARD MEMBERS AND COMMITTEES
“Many hands make light work.”
All board and committee members are volunteers who live within Meadowhills Estates. We are always in need of new board members to fill vacant roles and give our current volunteer board members a break! If you are interested in helping out, please contact the email address listed above or speak up at the annual meeting. Maintaining an all-volunteer HOA board allows us to keep dues low by avoiding hiring a property management company.
In addition to the roles currently held (shown above), our Board has included people for the following roles:
- President: presides at all meetings of the Board of Directors; sees that orders and resolutions passed by the Board are carried out; signs all legal documents & co-signs checks/promissory notes of the Association; prepares an annual report of the affairs of the Association for the annual meeting
- Vice President: acts in the place of the place of the president in his or her absence; supports the overall function of the Board (beautification, communications, etc.)
- Announcement Signs: updates entrance sandwich board with information & announcements
- Architectural Committee Member: oversees the approval and revision of architectural change requests
- Beautification Committee Member: oversees landscaping maintenance and projects, contacts companies to collect bids for said work, provides updates and reports on this work
- Website/Communications: updates the website with important information & maintains an efficient, accessible site for residents to access
- Welcoming Committee: greets new residents and offers information on local resources (HOA, city, county) and social events
